Ready to hold court for the families of Burnet County
A MEssage from
With the retirement of Judge Linda Bayless coming at the end of 2022, it is time for the voters of Burnet County to choose a new judge to take her place. I believe that I am uniquely qualified to serve our community in this capacity, and that is why I am stepping forward as a candidate in the March 1st Republican Primary election.
The Judge of the Burnet County Court at Law is charged with the great responsibility of handling some of the most challenging cases that are heard in the courthouse, as 89% of all the trials in this courtroom are related to family law.
As a wife, mother, and grandmother, I think we owe it to the next generation to provide a legal system that is fair and honest; where judges are experienced and conservative, yet empathetic; and where everyone who stands before the court is treated equally and with respect.
I believe you can be both compassionate and conservative. Being a judge who handles sensitive family law matters, cases involving children, and cases that touch local small businesses is a tough job with high stakes, and we must elect someone that our families and community can depend on.
I am an experienced advocate for children and families with decades of experience as an attorney and mediator in every aspect of the law that is heard in this courtroom.
I am ready to hold court for the people of Burnet County. Please join my campaign today.
